I don’t even know where to begin. So much (too much) has happened in the last few months for me to even begin to catch up. It’s almost time for me to print out my blog books (at Blog2Print) and I’m going to combine 2011 and 2012 because I’ve been such a slacker.
One of the things I hate about trying to catch up on our history is that I have a terrible memory! If I don’t record the stories when they happen, they are lost forever. Instead I have random facts and travelogue-esque posts. Hate those. I much prefer the quirky details.
For now I’m going to share my photo album from the last couple months:

My sister Becky and I circa 2002. I was pregnant with Sam. I loved these pics we had taken at Target. Still do!

From our trip to California in January 2012. A few of the boy cousins. I wish we all lived closer to each other.

From the Day With Amy: PRO Workshop that I taught in October. Tammy joined me and I love that she caught some behind the scenes pics!

Jacob was Captain America for Halloween. He’s a good Captain America. It fits his personality.

Our first Halloween in Florida and we loved it. Our neighborhood was ROCKIN’! I don’t know if it’s a Florida thing, or just our neighborhood, but everyone giving out candy sat in their driveway to pass it out so we didn’t have to ring doorbells. Interesting. And very convenient.

Miss B loves to read. And she loves to read nekkid even more.

No words.

I did some travel in November. This was taken on my way to North Carolina. I got to visit a close friend and take pictures too. Kinda my dream vacation.
Did I tell you about the time we went to Hawaii last year (just Jake and I) and while out on the beach at sunset, I saw a family and offered to take their family pictures. It was killing me to try and just get pictures of the sunset without a gorgeous family to go along. I love what I do.

North Carolina knows how to do autumn.

Less than 48 hours after returning from North Carolina, Jake and I headed to Houston. I taught a sold-out workshop and also did a couple of photo sessions, including one for 17 month old twins. It was phenomenal! And it was nice to get away with Jake even though it was non-stop the whole weekend. Love that guy.

Facetiming with B while we were in Houston.

The view from our backyard is pretty amazing. We are lucky to live here.

Josh is attending Williamsburg Intermediate this year. He is class president of his humanities course and is also taking a film class that he loves. They had an evening where they presented something they had been working on. Jake recited the Gettysburg address.

Still working on {52 Dresses}. I’m on week 22 this week!

This dress is amazing.

Jake and I love taking walks in the evening when the sun is setting. It’s one of the things we looked forward to every day while we were in Kodiak.

And swimming in mid-November is a pretty amazing perk to living in Florida as well!

And riding bikes to the playground.

Yeah. Pretty much we love it here.

Our front room. Besides the office, it’s the only room in the house that is finished. We have a lot more projects to start, but we’re taking our time.

We got our tree up with lights and unfortunately haven’t gone any further. What is that all about?! Decorating the Christmas tree is my favorite part of the season! I’m afraid it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas here. Today it was 82* when we got home from church.

Last week everyone took the week off of work and school and we went to Disney World. We surprised the kids with annual passes as an early Christmas present. We stayed at Shades of Green which is a military hotel on the resort grounds.

Disney knows how to do Christmas.

Love my boys.

I bought Miss B this darling princess nightgown from Target and she hated it. That girl kills me sometimes. She is not a doll loving princess at all. When we asked her what she wants for Christmas: A BEAR that ROARS when you scare it.

Playhouse Disney. She was very reserved and spent the whole time quiet as a mouse.

We went back to the hotel for a nap and she was asleep within minutes.

Me and Sam-a-lam. This trip was pretty cool for him. He got to hang with his brothers. They went through the single rider line over and over again. And he finally went on Tower of Terror. It had been alluding him for years and he finally conquered his fears this time. And he loved it.

Love a good roller coaster!

At the Osbourne Family Light Spectacle. The highlight of our visit.

With Santa at the ward Christmas party. Fraidy Cat.
