The days leading up to Christmas we scrubbed and scoured and prepared.

It was wonderful, smelled like Pine-Sol, and looked like this…

And then we were ready.

Christmas morning was quiet.

Miss B’s first Christmas looked like this…

She slept through the whole thing. Her brothers opened the presents they had wrapped for her just days before. She didn’t mind.

Santa brought her a high chair. She loves it. So do we.

He brought Josh and Sam costumes. They were perfect. Josh is particularly a fan. I’m sure Santa knew he would be. Josh loves to dress up. He tried wearing his cowboy hat to church yesterday.

They’ve looked like this for the past 3 days…

And when Jacob opened his gift, Josh exclaimed: if I’d known Santa was handing out iPods, I would’ve asked for one!!!

Leslie :~D - Great minds think alike! I have the same rug in my kitchen as you do… the $5 red stripe from Wal-Mart! And, on your bookshelves, I saw similar titles as what we have on ours! LOL! Glad you had a good holiday! Ours was quiet too… but my prime rib was the BOMB.com (as Sarah puts it so 13-ishly!)

loveland9 - Okay, I thought cleaning out the garage was a step in the right direction. But now, now, I'm thinking we need to pull out the fridge and oven. The kids are going to hate blogging friends. lol

As for your Christmas Eve pictures…they're great. Love the nativity costumes. Betsy will be a blast next year. My girls were so much fun this year.

The Bruntz Runtz - Amy, Your family is adorable!
Does that happen to be Elder Sparks in the Christmas Eve Pic???

Meachamania - Your posts are always incredibly touching with exceptional photography to boot! Thanks so much for sharing~ I especially liked Fort Abercrombie!!
Also, didn't know you were in Florida.. we would have waved!! Happy New Year to you all!!
