Happy Thanksgiving! I’m wishing you an incredible day filled with family, friends and food. I hope that you have much in your life to be grateful for. I know I do. My heart is full.
My life has been full lately as well. Errands to run here… children to take there. House to clean, laundry to fold. Photo sessions and phone calls. Books to read, classes to attend. I’ve started working out again… thankfully.
But for now I’ve just finished editing my latest photo session at Simply b and I don’t have anything scheduled until Saturday.
The next two days will be just me. And my family. And our friends. And plenty of good food.
For that I am thankful.
And so I’m turning off my computer. Unplugging it. Besides, the tree needs to go in its place. I’m going to spend the next two days without a peek at the computer. It sounds simple… but OH! It is not. I have plenty of legitimate business to conduct online. (Not to mention the other trappings that pull me in as well…)
But I want to focus on Miss B’s first Thanksgiving. On teaching Sam how to make mashed potatoes. On talking with Jacob about his latest book. And laughing at all of Josh’s jokes. And gazing at my oh so handsome husband. The computer takes me away from that.
So enjoy your Thanksgiving. I’ll be thinking of you… and missing you too! Wish you were here.
